WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THE D2C WORLD?

Eggoz is a business that was developed to build a hygienic service of eggs to people all over as the consumption of eggs is the third-largest contributor to every person's breakfast. "Online e-commerce stores, modern trade outlets and general trade have Eggoz products readily available", says Abhishek Negi, Co-Founder of Eggoz. He also claims that their products are available in 8 cities across 5 states in North India.

White, brown and enriched eggs; You've got it all at Eggoz! They plan on making egg snacks as well in the future. Eggoz Nutraplus line provides Vitamin D and B12 with just a consumption of 2 eggs from the same. Along with this, another great point to highlight is the supply chain, order management and the flock management tech platform that's been developed in-house.

Negi says that with further technological advancements, this model also helps many small to mid-scale rural farmers to get into egg farming by making their Capex entry barriers very low. They also guarantee to buy off the entire produce of their farmers by making direct payments into their accounts.

Eggoz is on a mission to build a nationwide brand of eggs and egg-based products that come with a seal of approval from the rural farmers and a brand that consumers can trust. They want to create excitement for adults and children by introducing a range of fun, healthy and tasty products with the goodness of eggs. This is their objective, their aim; to provide an egg protein category with a high consumer-centric approach.

Rate of Returns on the rise? Here are some prevention measures.

You’ve probably bought clothes that were sized differently in which case, you had to return them. You probably would’ve bought a jug online, (thinking it was THE one) but would’ve ended up getting an extra small cup. Now, maybe during the whole experience, you returned your lemonade as if it was too sweet or too sour, or because they had added ingredients in it that weren’t mentioned. This happened due to the lack of information and precision.

BRAND OF THE WEEK:

The Fascination has raised $1 Million to seed fund their idea of an online marketplace, which throws light on quality brands and newer ones. David Wolfe and Matt Hayes founded this company, founders of D2C mattress brand Leesa's.

Wolfe claimed that he didn't like how Amazon would sell cheap look-alikes and alternatives alongside premium products. He wanted to build a platform that sold products alongside brands they admire. Matte Hayes also says that it would be a good idea and concept as all the D2C brand's that people are aware of would culminate in one single place. He also correlated the pandemic to this idea; all the brand's put together in one place.

They have collaborated over a holiday catalog to promote all their products in one place and used it to communicate with potential customers. This would enable high customer engagement traffic on their site, at least that's what they were hoping for.

Some of these D2C brands have even partnered with conventional retailers such Walmart, Target and Nordstrom, who have also partnered with D2C brands such as Thinx, Everlane and Away.
