An Instagram Story is a short, temporary post that lasts 24 hours (unless you save it in Highlights). You'll see a bright circle around someone's profile picture when they have a Story available. Just tap the profile photo to view it.

The company noted, “With AI-organized search results pages, we’re bringing people more diverse content formats and sites, creating even more opportunities for content to be discovered.”

This shift means users can now explore a broader spectrum of information more efficiently. From in-depth articles to quick video tutorials, AI-organized search helps users access a wider variety of perspectives in a streamlined format.

Another exciting development from Google is the global rollout of updated links and citation formats in the AI Overviews feature. Initially tested in August, this new format enhances how users interact with AI-generated summaries. The updated design is now live in all countries where AI Overviews are available.

According to Google’s tests, these changes have led to a surge in website traffic, with users finding it easier to navigate and visit sites they’re interested in. The improved design not only boosts traffic to supporting websites but also improves the overall search experience, making it more intuitive and user-friendly.

  • AI Overview Ads: Ads are now available for mobile users in the U.S., marking an important integration of AI into Google’s advertising ecosystem.
