WHATโ€™S COOKING, HUH?

โ€œFood-related consumer habits often come and go as fads, but plant-based alternatives are here to stay - and grow," said Jennifer Bartashus, Senior Consumer Staples Analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence

The plant-based food business has the potential to become embedded as a viable option in supermarkets and restaurants alike if sales and penetration for meat and dairy alternatives continue to expand

In the following decade, meat and dairy alternatives may even gain 5% and 10% of their respective worldwide market shares.

If sales growth and penetration levels match those of plant-based milk to reach 5% of the total meat and fish industry by 2030, this may translate into a $74 billion potential. (Woahh!)

Plant-based meat accounted for only 0.3 percent of overall meat sales in 2020, but as products become more widely available, consumer knowledge develops, prices fall, and the perceived health and sustainability benefits gain popularity, growth is expected to accelerate.

"While the plant-based dairy sector is more established, by 2030, it will have grown to $62 billion, up from $23 billion in 2020, accounting for 10% of the global dairy market, up from 4.5 percent in 2020.โ€

New formulations and products, such as plant-based ice cream, cheese, sour cream, and butter, are helping to drive growth, as are growing consumer concerns about health and sustainability.

Demographic and industry factors should help accelerate the expansion of plant-based alternatives and differentiate the category as a long-term trend rather than a fad.

โ€œIt might include expanding retail distribution points, growing consumer interest in healthier lifestyles, more consistent supply as companies improve forecasting and manufacturing capabilities, greater raw material availability, price parity with conventional products, and ongoing restaurant trials.

BFCM is very close; it is now or never to get the most out of email marketing. You would have already come up with the best email marketing strategy this BFCM season. But here we are for the last minute prep. (Icing on the cake ๐Ÿ˜‚

First, begin sending emails right away to invite people to the BFCM season that provides first or exclusive access to deals. You'll attract customers who are ready to commit to your brand and have most likely already done so.

Second, when customers commit early, they're more likely to interact later since they've mentally identified your company as one with offers they want to snag.

Also, providing early access to the year's largest deal may be the most powerful incentive you'll have all year to get your email subscribers to sign up for SMS. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.

Not sure if email marketing still works? Hereโ€™s why you shouldnโ€™t miss out on it yet!

You, like every other business owner, have objectives to achieve. These objectives could include generating more leads, strengthening your brand, increasing sales, or all of the above. If you use the correct channels, digital marketing can help you achieve your business objectives. So, why email, you might wonder?

The problem is that, while you may know what your business goals are, you may not know which digital marketing platforms to utilize to achieve them. This is crucial if you want to grow your business consistently and see a positive return on investment. Regardless of your companyโ€™s position, there is one channel that has been proven to succeed if you focus on it. Weโ€™re talking about email marketing, of course.

Email isnโ€™t a new phenomenon, we all know that. Itโ€™s been around for a long time and is still a popular way for businesses to communicate and provide personal customer service. But it still is one of the most cost-effective ways to communicate a message to your customers with a high ROI.

BRAND OF THE WEEK isโ€ฆ

hai is on a mission to kickstart a new generation's self-care revolution. The smart in-home spa system turns any shower into a self-care routine, while simultaneously empowering customers to take control of and understand their environmental effect

Hai closes $6 Million Seed Financing to Launch a Smarter Way to Shower for You and the Planet. It is meant to ritualize self-care and provide consumers with the ideal shower experience.

Did you know? The energy is used to power hai's customized LED light indications, water tracking features, Bluetooth connection to the accompanying app, and over-the-air feature updates.

Hai to use funds to expand its retail footprint nationwide and accelerate growth across new product lines such as infusions (infusing aromatherapy, hair, and skin treatments directly into the water stream) and filtration. It will also be used for technological advancements such as sensor research, energy generation, and new spray technology.

"hai comes from the word hiatus which is how we view the shower and the time spent within it. We look at hai as your own personal reset button. We spend around 90,000 minutes of our lives in the shower, that's too much time to just settle for a mediocre experience that wastes water", said Leah Stigile, Co-Founder & CEO.

hai reduces its own carbon footprint by providing users with ways to conserve water and energy. It also streamlines packing by utilizing post-consumer, reused, and recyclable materials. (so cool)๐Ÿ˜„
