Snapchat's Snap Partner Summit was a big hit this week, showcasing how brands can use the app's technology in exciting new ways.

And guess what? It's not just limited to the mobile app anymore!

AR Mirrors are Here! ๐Ÿ‘€

Snapchat is adding physical AR mirrors to its new AR Enterprise Services (ARES), which means brands can use Snapchat tech outside of the app!

These mirrors were previously used in-store for a Gen Z-centered Nike back-to-school store installation, and are currently being used in Men's Wearhouse to attract young formal suit shoppers.

Shopping Suite ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

Snapchat's ARES also includes a Shopping Suite, which allows participating brands to embed Snapchat's 3D viewing, AR try-on, and online fit finder into their own apps or websites.

Brands like Goodr, Princess Polly, and Gobi Cashmere have already seen great results from these features, with increased conversion rates and revenue per visitor.

Influencer Love ๐Ÿ‘‘

Snapchat also showed some love for influencers during the summit, announcing more initiatives to encourage influencer content on the app.

The company is now allowing more creators to offer ads in their Stories as part of the revenue share program.

Snapchat reported that viewership of Stories by creators in the program doubled year-over-year in the U.S. and highlighted influencer Alyssa McKay as a major success story with over 13 billion views on Snapchat.

Snapchat also revealed new criteria for joining the creator revenue program, requiring creators to have at least 50,000 followers, 25 million monthly views, 10 Stories a month, and other unnamed criteria.

And with a 170% year-over-year increase in time spent watching content, the short-video feature called Spotlight is becoming a serious competitor to TikTok.
