Following a "substantial" increase in spending in the third quarter, Coca-Cola expects to maintain marketing expenditure for the last three months of 2022 to preserve the long-term health of the business. 📈

Coca-Cola is putting top-line growth first as it navigates the present macroeconomic headwinds and reaffirmed that marketing expenditure is a key driver of that. 💰

The drinks industry behemoth claims that since "significantly stepping up" its consumer-facing marketing spending over the past three months, it has already seen results in brands like Sprite, which is now a $1 billion brand. 💸

In the same quarter, Coca-Cola also reported a 10% increase in net revenues to $11.1 billion and a 4% increase in unit case volume. The company increased its full-year forecast and now projects organic revenue growth of 14–15%. 🤯

As the company gets ready for a difficult 2023, marketing spending will continue to be a priority going into the year's last quarter. 👩🏻‍💼
