Elon’s Twitter - ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ ⏰

The acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk has drawn attention for a number of factors. Musk took over as the platform's top executive late on Thursday night and moved quickly to establish his priorities. It should be remembered that Musk sought to back out of the $44 million deal he signed to buy Twitter, which has put his acquisition of the company under scrutiny for months. 😮

Additionally, his actions immediately after seizing control of Twitter tell eloquently about his ownership. Musk reportedly fired the company's top executives as his first action. 🤯

Meta Intends To Lose Even More Money While Constructing The Metaverse, As Its Ad Revenue Decreases

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reaffirmed his commitment to investing billions of dollars in the development of the metaverse.

During a meeting with analysts for Meta's third-quarter earnings report, Zuckerberg and other Meta officials answered a number of inquiries from analysts who sounded more irate about the company's escalating costs and expenses, which increased 19% year over year to $22.1 billion during the period. 💸

The day after the firm issued a disappointing fourth-quarter forecast that fell short of analysts' expectations, Meta's stock plunged 24% on Thursday morning. In the third quarter, the third-party owner of Facebook saw a 4% year-over-year decline in sales to $27.7 billion and a 52% decline in profit to $4.4 billion. 💵

The Reality Labs division of Meta, which is in charge of creating the virtual reality and associated augmented reality technology that will support the metaverse when it is finally constructed, has already lost $9.4 billion in 2022. Dave Wehner, chief financial officer at Meta, blamed "reduced Quest 2 sales" for the business unit's revenue decline of roughly 50% year over year to $285 million.

In a statement, Meta stated that it does expect Reality Labs' operating losses to increase dramatically year over year in 2023. In order to reach our long-term aim of increasing overall business operating profitability, we anticipate timing Reality Labs investments beyond 2023.

Investors may feel that there are "too many experimental bets vs proven bets on the core," Jefferies analyst Brent Thill said during the earnings call. He questioned why Meta believed that experimental bets like the metaverse would succeed.

According to Zuckerberg, Meta is struggling with a number of issues including the weak economy, the lingering impacts of Apple's 2021 iOS privacy update that made it more difficult for Meta to target adverts to consumers, and competition from rivals like TikTok.

He predicted that long-term investments in the metaverse will "provide bigger returns over time."

In order to possess a platform in the future that won't be negatively impacted by the decisions of its competitors, like Apple, Zuckerberg confessed that part of the reason his business is constructing the metaverse. The main reason Zuckerberg is creating the metaverse, though, is so that technology firms may be more creative when they create both the software and hardware that support a computing platform, according to Zuckerberg.

Twitter Strategies For E-Commerce Business 🐦

Twitter marketing can be one of the most difficult social media platforms to employ due to its short lifespan and character limit. If you optimize Twitter, it can become a strong marketing tool. Let's look at some efficient Twitter marketing methods for your e-commerce business.

🕊 Focus On Your Profile : When someone searches for you, they will find your page by using your handle. As a result, your Twitter handle must be immediately identifiable, easy to remember, and short enough for them to tag you. 🔖

Make sure your name is consistent across all of your social media platforms. If you use a name that differs from your brand, your fans may become confused. Make sure your company's name is catchy, brief, and simple to remember, and their handle is simple.

🕊 Discover the most popular hashtags, competitors, and influencers. It's all about hashtags and influencers on social media. The goal is to use relevant and popular hashtags, work with influencers in your field, and examine the strategy of your competitors. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Once you've determined what works for your competition, you may replicate those methods while adapting them to fit your brand. 🌪

🕊 Engage audience : You must communicate with your audience. After all, using Twitter is all about developing personal relationships with and engaging with your followers. 🤌🏻

Check out the tweets of your followers by following them back. It will be to your company' advantage to understand as much as you can about their interests and needs.

Be a part of your industry's leadership network and follow it. They might follow you back, most likely. It is also a terrific method to stay current with fashions in your field.

Quick responses are what your followers want and need from you as a business.

🕊 Promote on Twitter : Twitter advertising is a fantastic method to connect with your audience, grow your influence, and attract more followers. Either promoted tweets or Twitter ads are options.

The specific person will see your tweets in the Twitter streams or search results if you employ sponsored tweets. If you want to draw more visitors to a particular website, you can choose this option. There will be a monthly fee. Twitter Ads allow for interaction and engagement from all users.

If you use many sorts of tweets to accomplish a single business goal, Twitter ads may be the best option for you. It works wonders to expand your fan base and raise exposure of your brand.

HOMECOURT

‘Monico’ is here to help, well who is she? “Welcome to the real world. 🌎  It sucks. You're gonna love it ❤️”. Sounds familiar now❓

It’s none other than Monica from the ‘FRIENDS’. It’s Courteney Cox’s ‘HomeCourt’. She describes her as being quite hyper-organized, which explains why she decided to start a home-care business. Only on the Homecourt website will customers be able to buy the line of skin-care oriented, fragrance-infused home care items.

Her new company, Homecourt, began with the most gorgeous dish soap and surface cleaning you've ever seen, and has just expanded its line to include a modern candle and room deodorizers.

 Twitter Under Elon Musk

He proclaimed the great news on Twitter, of course, changing his bio to "Chief Twit" and declaring "the bird is released." As far as he is worried, the job is done.

There hasn't yet been an official word, and Twitter HQ has been utterly silent about it.

So, how might Elon’s Twitter look?

On Thursday, Musk addressed potential advertisers in an uncharacteristically contrite message placed on the site. In it, he stated that he purchased Twitter in order to "attempt to serve humanity," and that he wished for "civilization to have a digital town square." He also acknowledged that his goal might fail.

The fact that he addressed directly to people that advertise on Twitter shows that he plans to continue with its digital advertising business model for the time being. This is despite the fact that income for companies like Google-owned Alphabet and Facebook-owned Meta has begun to dip as the global economic slowdown bites and enterprises find themselves with less cash to spend on marketing.
