TikTok All Set To Become An E-Commerce Giant: Is that True?

With plans to run its warehouses in the United States, TikTok seems to be expanding its venture into e-commerce. These are the kinds of packaging and shipping facilities more generally linked with Amazon or Walmart than with the social media company known for its short videos. 

TikTok has posted a series of job advertisements on LinkedIn to find candidates to assist it to expand its "Fulfillment by TikTok Shop" in the United States to accept app sellers. 

The postings state that TikTok intends to give sellers alternatives for warehousing, delivery, and item returns. Regarding TikTok's E-Commerce intentions in the United States, a business representative refused to comment.

Officials at TikTok are presumably trying to diversify the firm's revenue streams beyond advertising, which is currently dominated in the United States by Alphabet Inc., which operates YouTube and Google, and Meta.
