BeReal Has 53 Million Installations, Yet Just 9% Of Users Use It Everyday

The Gen Z social networking app BeReal promotes daily photo taking as a way to become a daily habit. However, according to recent estimates from a third-party app analytics firm, just a small number of the app's customers are actually doing this at this time. ๐Ÿ“ฒ

BeReal, as per analysis from Sensor Tower, is showing tremendous significance in several measures. For instance, its monthly active users have increased by 2,254% since January 2022 and it has surpassed 53 million global installations across the App Store and Google Play. However, as of the third quarter of this year, just 9% of its active Android installations were opening the app daily. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

According to Sensor Tower, BeReal is still underperforming established social media companies in this area. Now  9% of BeReal's active downloads on Android are launching it on a daily basis. ๐Ÿคณ๐Ÿป

This places it well behind Instagram and TikTok. Instagram leads in this area, with 39% of active installations opening the app every day, followed by TikTok, which has 29%. Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, and Twitter come in at 27%, 26%, 20%, and 18%, respectively. ๐Ÿ“ˆ

BeReal might improve on this figure because it has been steadily increasing its active users each month. Sensor Tower declined to give an actual figure for their active monthly user estimates when reached for comment. ๐Ÿ‘€

According to the newest report titled "Future of Commerce" by mobile video platform TikTok, "Shoppertainment" (shopping and entertainment) could attain a market value of over $1 trillion by 2025, with the clothing, beauty, food & beverage, and electronics sectors contributing more than half, or 55%. 

The survey, which was conducted in collaboration with management consulting services firm Boston Consulting Group, also discovered that today's buyers are searching for brand connection, which may explain why 90% of digital commercials are usually disregarded.

According to the report, 73% of TikTok users feel stronger relationships with companies on TikTok than they do on other sites and applications. Furthermore, 87% of TikTok users claim video content affected their recent purchases.

Brands may revive purchase enthusiasm by prioritizing entertainment. TikTok can help businesses and advertisers contact and engage people since the platform provides integrated solutions designed for entertainment and authentic interactions, resulting in meaningful commerce outcomes.
